Hollis got to meet Uncle Troy, Uncle Scott, Uncle Greg, and my cousin (his 2nd cousin?) Chad! My parents, Geoff, and Haley were also there. We also took a leisurely trip out on Clear Lake in Uncle Troy's boat. I'll let the pictures show you how much fun we had! :)

More Firsts and Family Visits!
(Sorry this post is being published so late! Better late than never!) This first picture isn't really a "first"- we've been swimming at our friends' house before. But it was too cute not to post. :)

I'm Back!
Well, I've actually been back to my classes at Gold's Gym for a few weeks now, but this was my first LAUNCH since before Hollis was born. Launch happens 4 times a year in all of our Les Mills branded classes when the new music and choreography are unveiled for all to enjoy. It's fun because we team up and have two instructors up there. I was SUPER EXCITED that we had at least 38 people in there with us this morning! The room was packed. Our theme for this summer's release was "Turn Up The Heat On Fitness"- and WE SURE DID! I still get a little bit more out of breath than I used to, but for having a baby just 3 (almost 3.5) months ago, I think I'm doing pretty dang good. :)

Just a few of many wonderful times with my husband! The last 3 years of marriage have been awesome. Our first house, first dog, and first child have all been some the most fun challenges we have faced so far. This year we get to tackle parenthood! :) I love Craig so much and look forward to our future together!

3 Months!
Yesterday Hollis officially turned 3 months old. THREE MONTHS... can you believe it? I was a walking zombie for almost the first 2 months, so I guess that's why it has flown by. Here are some of the new things he's learned how to do:
- grab both feet with his right hand
- still sucks his left thumb if his pacifier falls out of his mouth
- roll from his back to his side
- sit in his Bumbo seat for more than 2 minutes
- spin 180 degrees in his sleep
- sleeps through the night! If he goes to bed around 9:30pm he will sleep till 7 or 8am.
- grabs and holds onto toys
- tries putting most of these toys in his mouth
- smiles and "talks" (coos) more and more
- has more of a routine during the day: eat, diaper change, play, sleep, repeat.
- shows off his stepping instincts by "walking" up our stomachs or across the floor, while we hold him up of course
He's such an amazing baby and fills my heart with so much love! I'll upload some pictures soon. Hollis is growing and healthy and absolutely perfect. :)

New Obsession
GREAT- found another thing to occupy my not-so-free time (translation: one more thing to help me procrastinate)... www.fotoflexer.com. It's like an online version of basic photoshop type software. Yeah, some of you found that way before me, but I just discovered it thanks to shabbyblogs.com. :)
Gotta go feed Hollis- that is something that always trumps my computer time! :) :) :)

10 in 10 Challenge

I read this on my friend's blog and thought, "this is exactly what I need to help me get some stuff done!" I keep putting things off and then getting mad at myself for it. So I am taking the 10 in 10 Challenge. I am going to list 10 tasks and hold myself accountable for doing them. It officially begins at dawn on Wednesday, July 7 and concludes at 11:59pm on July 17. I'm notorious for procrastinating, so this ought to help me jump back on the Productive Train.
1. Finish cleaning and organizing the study.
2. Send Hollis' birth announcements out. (Yes, he is almost 3 months old... can you see why I am taking on this challenge?!?!)
3. Mail pictures to my Grandmas who don't have Facebook so they can see the little guy!
4. Organize my side of the closet and remove clothes to donate. 2-for-1 with this task.
5. Practice the new choreography for BodyPump and BodyCombat at least 3 times each. Technically that is 6 workouts, so I better make sure I start ASAP... as soon as the soreness is more bearable from my tetanus booster... ouch...
6. Figure out what to get Craig for our 3rd wedding anniversary (July 20).
7. Finish adding info and photos to my "Belly Book" that documented my pregnancy.
8. Start Hollis' baby scrapbook, getting at least all of the hospital pictures in. (April 14-17)
9. Go to bed by 10:30pm all ten nights. Now that Hollis is sleeping better at night, I've been bad about going to bed at a decent time myself... bad habit... must break that ASAP.
10. Dust the living room and bedroom, including the window sills, base boards and behind the TV's.
I better get some sleep tonight so I can get a start on this tomorrow! :)
