It's barely spring, but I'm ready for summer!

It's probably not what you think...
I'm totally okay with the fact that we have another few months of school. The reason I'm SO ready for summer is that I registered last night for a HUGE workshop in California where all of the Master Trainers from Les Mills Headquarters will be leading us through an intense weekend of workouts! These trainers are flying in from Australia and New Zealand. They are awesome- the best and brightest in the group exercise industry. They are excellent role models too: mothers, wives, husbands, dads, and just all around amazing people who dedicate a big part of themselves to making fitness fun and challenging yet achievable for everyone else. I hope to take my laptop with me and blog about the trip while I am there. All I can think about today is that weekend that is 2 and 1/2 months away! :)

Yoga and Doga

Craig bought the P90X home exercise program and has been great about doing the workouts everyday. Last Tuesday he woke up at 4am to have time do Yoga (his least fave) since he had soccer games in a town 2 hours away that night. Luckily today he didn't have to wake up early since we are on spring break, so we planned on doing the yoga together this evening. Since I was doing the exercises with him, the dog decided he wanted to hang out right between us (and sometimes right under us) the entire time. I think Zeus was trying to do "Doga" aka doggie-yoga. There were a few times at the end that Zeus was stretching right along side of me. I think it helped that Craig and I did the workout together- made him try harder! :)

Zeus is a blogger now. He also watches YouTube. Hahaha

Strange Reflection

A few mornings ago, I was taking Zeus out in the yard before leaving for work. I just happened to catch the morning sun reflecting off of our windows and onto the fence, and captured this odd picture:
Doesn't it look like a pair of eyes? Strange, huh? :)

Laser Pointer + Zeus = Sore Abs

So, you may be wondering why I titled this blog the way I did. Especially the math teacher friends of mine who use equations every day... Well, yesterday in class I confiscated a laser pointer from a student (which we are not required to give back since they aren't supposed to have them anyway). I took it home wondering if Zeus would chase it like I've seen cats do on YouTube videos. Well he does. And it is HILARIOUS. Craig and I laughed so hard, my abs were hurting! Tears rolled down my cheeks and I could hardly breathe! My memory card on my camera was full, but once I make room on it I will have to see if I can get some video of him chasing the little red dot. It will put a smile on your face. :) At one point he even face planted into the wall trying to bite it- he was not harmed though! Promise! I checked his little chin and nose just to be sure. :) It really was the funniest thing he's done so far. Gotta love sweet little boxer babies. (Yeah- he's 64 pounds, but he's still a baby!)

Sad news

Craig's Grannie Barbie passed away on Saturday morning. She has been battling with cancer for a few years now and it won the fight. She had lived here in The Woodlands, yet sadly Craig and I didn't get to see her that much over the last year. Services will probably be held on Friday. Please keep Craig, his parents, especially his dad, in your prayers.
